Pony Pals – Ages 5 to 7

Tailored for younger beginners aged 5 to 7, our Pony Pals program serves as an engaging introduction to fundamental horsemanship. At Horse Logic LLC, we prioritize safety and enjoyment within a family-friendly setting.

Pony Pals lessons cover a range of skills, including:

  • Leading the horse
  • Grooming
  • Tacking (placing the saddle and equipment on the horse)
  • Untacking (removing the saddle and equipment)
  • Riding at the walk (with and without the saddle)
  • Riding at the trot (with and without the saddle)

While certain segments of Pony Pals lessons may not involve riding, they are designed to enhance the student’s overall horsemanship abilities. This program is ideal for young children to explore their interest in riding without the commitment of purchasing gear or enrolling in extensive lessons. It provides a perfect opportunity for parents and grandparents to discover if their child or grandchild has a passion for horses. Each Pony Pals lesson has a duration of 30 minutes.
